Our mission is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, declare the power of His precious blood, and extend God’s love to all humanity. We are committed to breaking yokes, setting captives free, restoring destinies, raising God-centered leaders, and bringing restoration and joy to marriages.

To build a ministry that is ethically and culturally diverse, serving the needs of all people with genuine love—regardless of age, race, or socio-economic status. At every of our services, or encountered with our members, we want you feel the love of God, and know that He cares for you.
BRIEF HISTORY
Founded in Brooklyn, New York on July 18, 2010, Comforter’s Ministries began with a God-given mandate for a global outreach. From its early days, the ministry held revival meetings across the United States, Europe, and Africa, bringing hope, healing, and restoration to countless lives.
In 2015, under the leading of the Holy Spirit, the ministry established a church branch in Ibadan, Nigeria. The Church is known as Vineyard of Comfort Assembly. The services began with Friday Breakthrough Prayer gatherings in Oluyole, followed six months later by Sunday worship services with fewer than ten attendees in our first Sunday worship service.
By God’s grace, the ministry has grown into a flourishing, impactful church family. Today, Comforter’s Ministries continues to influence communities worldwide, strengthen families, and restore marriages through different arms, including its Love and Family arm led by Pastor Tope Abiara.

Jesus saves. Jesus heals. Jesus restores.
STATEMENT OF BELIEF
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, accurate, authoritative, and applicable to our daily lives.
Humanity and Sin
We believe sin has separated every person from God and His purpose.
Salvation
We believe forgiveness and new life come through repentance, faith in Jesus Christ, and obedience to His will.
The Church
We believe in the importance of the Church and regular fellowship, prayer, worship, and communion.
The Second Coming
We believe Jesus Christ will return just as He promised.
The One True God
We believe in one eternal God, existing in three Persons: the Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man is the only way to the Father. He lived sinlessly, died for us, and rose again in victory.
Water Baptism & The Holy Spirit
We believe believers should be baptized in water and empowered by the Holy Spirit, who transforms and equips us with spiritual gifts.
Eternal Destiny
We believe Heaven or hell is determined by one’s response to Jesus Christ.

Pastor Elijah Taiwo Abiara
Senior Pastor
Pastor Elijah Abiara is the visionary leader of Comforter’s Ministries (CM). A prophet by calling, with a passion for preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, deliverance, restoration, and spiritual awakening. Pastor Elijah has traveled internationally for ministry, leading revivals and birthing spiritual transformation across nations.
Pastor Tope Abiara
Senior Pastor
Pastor Tope Abiara, a marriage and family counselor by profession, leads the Love and Family arm of the ministry, impacting marriages and families through biblical teaching, counseling, and mentorship. She is passionate about building strong homes and raising Godly families.
